Christmas

We hope everyone had a great Christmas. We did! Christmas Eve we got together at my Grandma's house, unlike years in the past we didn't act out the Christmas story, we just read it. That night we spent the night at my parents house. Christmas morning, we slept in until 8am, it was the latest I've ever slept in on Christmas Day, it was awesome. We opened our stockings and presents, Sadie didn't quite get present opening but she sure liked to eat the tissue paper. We also ate a big lunch with my family, got to talk to my brother Dustin, who is serving a mission in Canada and played some games. Dustin sounded SO great, he is training now and a district leader. We are SO proud of him!!! In the evening, Grant's parents and Chase and Mack came up to visit from Chicago. We ate again, dinner this time, exchanged gifts and played some more games. We were so blessed to have been able to spend Christmas as our little family and with members of each of our families. What a great time of year to reflect on the birth of Christ and the many blessings he brings into our lives on a daily basis. We are very excited for the upcoming year and for what it might hold for our family. Happy New Year to all of you, may you and your family be blessed in the upcoming year.
