Pigtails

It took LOTS of bribing but I actually got Sadie's hair in pigtails. It looked SO adorable! They only lasted for our little photo shoot then she started playing with them. Maybe one day she will let me do fun things with her hair.

Week 1

Last week, I started our home school preschool with Sadie. Monday we learned about the letter A and an animal that starts with A, we did an Alligator and sang the Alligator and Monkeys in the tree song. A few weeks ago I ordered the fridge Leap Frog Phonics which is awesome, we put in the letter and say the letter and sounds along with it. Tuesday we learned about squares. We walked around the house and pointed out all the squares. Wednesday we went to play group at the park! Thursday we learned about the number 1. Sadie struggles with the number 1 and only wants to say 2 these days but we did our best. Friday we did an activity, we made a paper bag Alligator puppet and reviewed what we had learned this week. Week 1 was a success lets hope the rest go as good.

Family Reunion

This year, Grant's family had a reunion in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We had a great time seeing everyone. Sadie and Madison loved playing with their cousins, Sadie asked for Ryker for a week after we got home, she really misses him. Can't wait till we can get together again!

Yeah for Grant!

Hat's off to our Graduate! After 7 years of going to school, Grant is finally done with his Bachelors in Business Management with a Minor in Finance. We are SO proud of him and his hard work in getting his degree. Congratulations Grant, We LOVE you!

New Stroller

So we broke down and got a double stroller. I was hesitant to get one because Sadie hates the stroller and would prefer to walk, so I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money. The one we got is a sit n stand, it can hold 2 car seats or two kids sitting down or 1 sitting and 1 standing or 1 car seat and 1 kid sitting or standing. This picture was taken the day we got it, the girls and I went for a walk, we couldn't wait to try it out. Sadie loved riding in it and being able to see her sister. It's very lightweight and easy to push and fold. We are very happy with our purchase.

All Smiles

Madison has started smiling. She is such a happy, easy going baby and loves to smile. She has got to be the sweetest baby ever!

Easter

Happy Easter! We had a great Easter at our house. We did an egg hunt in the family room, Sadie loved all the candy and the Easter Bunny brought her a princess castle tent. We also loved the goodie package from Grammy and Grampy King, Sadie loves her jammies and candy and Madison loves her outfit. We also loved the Easter cards from Grandma and Grandpa Tennant. Thank you! Wish we could have been with our families.
